Family Golf Membership – Cart Privileges

Under the existing bylaws and policies our Members have the following options relating

to golf cart use at Cold Springs Golf and Country Club.

1. A membership that is grandfathered (membership was renting a golf stall before

1-01-01) may continue to rent a stall and keep a private cart on the Club premises.  Should the stall rent agreement terminate, as per the bylaws, that member will no longer have the option of renting a stall thereafter.

2.  A membership has the option of paying a trail fee and keeping their cart at their residence.  The access to the Course must be approved by the Board of Directors.

Note:   For both number one and two above, the intent of the bylaws and policies is that the private cart is for the use of that membership only,  and not loaned to others.  Otherwise said, a member of that membership should be an occupant of the cart when used at the course.

3.  A membership may opt to carry their bag or use a push/pull cart at no cost.

4.  A Membership may pay to use a fleet cart at the rate of $10 for nine holes, or $20 for eighteen holes.

5.  A Membership may pay $25 per month for 24 rides a year.  Once the 24 rides has been used, they must pay on a per round basis the remainder of that year.  If the membership needs an additional cart at any time during the year, that is available at the additional per round cost.

6.  A Membership may pay $60 per month for unlimited use of a cart.  If an additional cart is needed during the year at the same time their unlimited use cart, it will be available at the additional per round cost.

The spirit and intent of the bylaws:

Two separate memberships can not “partner up” and share the cost of a cart stall and share the use of that cart.

Two separate memberships can not “partner up” and share the cost of any of the fleet programs delineated above.

Memberships who do not walk or are not members of a fleet program or cart stall rent program, cannot “avoid the system”, and simply ride with a member who is a member of the fleet program or is renting a cart stall.  The other members who are paying their fair share are subsidizing this rider.
